Kuwait Fund
published the latest issue of Al-Sandouk Magazine (Issue 59 – April 2011)
containing an interview with Pakistan's ambassador of Kuwait, Iftikhar Aziz ,
where he praised the excellent bilateral relations between the two countries
and effect it has on their development.He also added thatKuwaitis a key partnerin thedevelopment ofPakistanthroughitsfinancing ofmany projectsanddevelopment
activitiessince itsindependence, and statedthatthe volume oftradebetween Kuwaitand Pakistan is
about2.4billion USD.
Aziz announcedthathis countryis currently
consideringa range ofprojectsintended tobe applied for
Kuwait Fund loans.
The issue
also included a special report about the 2nd annual trip that Kuwait
Fund hosts for the outstanding high school students.Where
this year the female students went to Jordan and the male student visited Morocco
and on both trips the students explored, visited and learned about Kuwait Fund projects
and contributions to the visited country.
The new issue talks about the new millennium
Arab trend, where is the rental of agricultural land abroad to cope with food
shortages, which has become a major problem in the Arab countries and a priority
to be solved..
The Magazine
also contained a special interviews with young Kuwaitis from the exhibition
"Proud to be Kuwaiti", and news about the Fund's activities and its
participation in variety of exhibitions.
