A Kuwait Government's Supplemental Grant Agreement was signed today in Mbabane between Kingdom of Swaziland and Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development whereby the Fund will administer the Project's Supplemental Grant of United States dollars two million (US$.2,000,000/-) bringing the total amount of the Grant to US$5,500,000 to help finance the Kuwait Sports Emporium Project at the University of Swaziland.

A Loan Agreement was signed today in Lusaka between the Republic of Zambia and Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (the Fund) whereby the Fund will make a Loan of Kuwaiti Dinars K.D. 4,000,000/- (equivalent to about U.S.$ 13.6 million) to assist in financing costs of Kalabo- Sikongo Road Project. 

A Loan Agreement was signed today in Djibouti between the Republic of Djibouti and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development,  whereby the Kuwait Fund will make a loan to the Republic of Djibouti in the amount of Kuwaiti Dinars 8 million (equivalent to about U.S.$ 27 million) for the financing of Tadjourah – Belho Road Project, (Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Road).
