Internal Bulletin 4 – 07/09/2004
The Fund’s Board of Directors held its 4th Session for the year 2004 on Monday 6th September, 2004. The Board approved the following at its session:
  1. Minutes of it’s 2nd Session for the year 2004 held on 2nd June 2004 and approved on 3rd July 2004, and Minutes of its 3rd Session for the year 2004 dated 12th June 2004 and approved on 5th July 2004.
  2. Minutes of the 2nd Session for the Year 2004 for the Investment Committee held on 19th June 2004.
  3. The proposed Kuwait Fund's budget for the financial year 2005 / 2006.
  4. A Loan of 3 million Kuwaiti Dinar for financing the Come-Possotome-Zoungbonou Road Project in the Republic of Benin.
  5. Amendment of the Amortization Schedule relating to Loan Agreement No. (550) signed on 21st October 1998 for the financing of Ashgabat-Mary Road Rehabilitation Project in the Republic of Turkmenistan.
  6. A Technical Assistance of Kuwaiti Dinars 150,000/- for the financing of the integrated study for the Development of Risha Gas Field Project in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
  7. A Technical Assistance of Kuwaiti Dinars 300,000/- for the financing of the feasibility study and detailed designs for the Rehabilitation of Irrigation Network and Drainage System Project in Djizakh and Syrdarya Regions in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
  8. A Technical Assistance of Kuwaiti Dinars 150,000/- for financing the feasibility study and engineering designs for the Construction of Kenema-Koindu Road Project in the Republic of Sierra Leone.
  9. A Technical Assistance of Kuwaiti Dinars 250,000/- for the financing of the feasibility study and preparation of detailed designs for the Laminkoto-Passimus and the Basse-Koina Roads Project in the Republic of the Gambia.
  10. A Technical Assistance of Kuwaiti Dinars 200,000/- for the financing of the feasibility study for the Tjikja-Kefa-Celbani - Mali Border Road Project in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.
  11. A Technical Assistance of Kuwaiti Dinars 60,000/- for the financing of the feasibility study for the Kayes - Mauritania Border Road Project in the Republic of Mali.
  12. A Grant of Kuwaiti Dinars 150,000/- for the International Development Law Organization (IDLO).
  13. A Grant of US Dollars 500,000/- toward bridging the financing gap in the Onchocerciasis (River Blindness Control Program) in Africa.
  14. Cancellation of the Board of Directors Resolution No. 23 dated 1999 for a Technical Assistance for financing the feasibility study for the Development of Mizoram State Rural Roads Project in India.
