Internal Bulletin 1 - 13/03/2014
The Fund's Board of Directors held its 1st Session for the year 2014 on Wednesday March 12, 2014. The Board considered in its session the Minutes of the 6th Session of the Board for the year 2013, held on December 25, 2013 and authenticated on January 13, 2014. The Board also considered the Minutes of Meeting of the 1st Session of the Board's Loan Committee for the year 2014 held on February 19, 2014. The Board approved the Committee's recommendation, in principle, the proposed Fund's operations Program for the Physical Year 2014/2015 including the following projects:

The Board also considered the Board's Internal Audit Committee's Minutes of the First Session for the year 2014 held on February 9, 2014, including the 6th Report of the Committee for the year 2013.
The Board in its Session approved the following:
A Loan in the amount of 30 million Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the Assiut (Alwaleediah) Steam Power Station in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
A Loan in the amount of 9 million Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the Luohe Medical College in Henan Province in People's Republic of China.
Amendment of Loan No. (871) for the Development of Transmission and Distribution Network of Natural Gas Project, signed on 7th may 2013, in the Republic of Tunisia.
Amendment of the draft Loan and Guarantee Agreements for Reconquista Water Supply Project (Phase I) in the Republic of Argentina.
A Grant in the amount of US$ 50 million for financing the Humanitarian Support Initiative for the Syrian Crisis.
A Grant in the amount of 300,000 Kuwaiti Dinars for the participation in the financing of the Ability Build-up of the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in the Republic of Yemen.
The Fund contribution for the 13th Replenishment of the African Development Fund (ADF) on behalf of the Government of the State of Kuwait.
