The Fund's Board of Directors held its 3^rd Session for the year 2013 on Wednesday, May 15, 2013.  The Board approved at its session the Minutes of the 2^nd Session of the Board for the year 2013, held on April 21, 2013.  The Board also considered the Minutes of Meeting of the 1^st and 2^ndSessions of 2013 of the Board's Internal Audit Committee.  The Board approved the Fund Closing Account and External Audit Report for the Fiscal Year (year ending) March 2013.

The Board in this Session approved the following: 

A Loan in the amount of 25 million Kuwaiti Dinars for the financing of the Al Roseras Al Dandar and Southern Al Rahad Irrigation Project in the Republic of Sudan.

A Loan in the amount of 6 million Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the Potable Water Supply in Zahla Project in the Republic of Lebanon.

A Loan in the amount of 10 million Kuwaiti Dinars for the Transmission and Distribution Networks Upgrading in Aden Project (Almansora-Khor Maksar-Al Kusaf) in the Republic of Yemen.

A Technical Assistance in the amount of 700,000 Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the preparation of Technical and Economic Feasibility Study and Detailed Design for the Power Transmission Network between Ethiopia and Djibouti in the Republic of Djibouti

A Technical Assistance in the amount of 300,000 Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the preparation of Technical and Economic Feasibility Study for the Reconstruction of Hummingbird (Belmopan – Dangriga) Highway Project in Belize.

A Grant in the amount of 200,000 Kuwaiti Dinars to cover the expenses for the Rehabilitation of Arab Planning Institute building (3^rd Phase) and increasing the Kuwait Fund annual contribution to the Institute to 100,000 Kuwaiti Dinars annually.

A Grant in the amount of 600,000 US Dollars to cover the part of the financing gap in Onchocerciasis Control Program for the remaining period of the Program (2013 – 2015).
