Internal Bulletin 3 - 16/07/2014
The Fund's Board of Directors held its 3rd Session for the year 2014 on Tuesday July 15, 2014. The Board perused in its session the Minutes of the 2ndSession of the Board for the year 2014, held on Monday May 19, 2014 and authenticated on Sunday June 08, 2014. The Board also considered the Minutes of Meeting of the 2nd Session of the Board's Loan Committee for the year 2014 held on July 09, 2014 and approved the Committee's recommendation to consider, in principle, financing the following projects:

The Board in its Session also approved the following:
A Loan in the amount of 15 million Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the Public Works (Phase IV) Project in the Republic of Yemen.
A 2nd Loan in the amount of 3 million Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the Shore Protection in the East Coast of Cotonou Project in the Republic of Benin.
A Loan in the amount of 6.5 million Kuwaiti Dinars for Equipping Clinics of Medical Higher Schools and Republican Clinical Hospitals with Modern Medical Equipment Project in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
A Loan in the amount of 8.5 million Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the Construction and Equipping of Chinandega Departmental Hospital in the Republic of Nicaragua.
A Grant in the amount of 1,000,000 Kuwaiti Dinars for ICARDA (International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas) for supporting the strategy of the Center and enhancing the Food Security Program in the Arab Countries (2nd Phase).
A Technical Assistance in the amount of 250,000/- Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the Technical and Economic Feasibility Study of the Northern Cornish Road (Hamid Ali - Sunoponia) in Conakry, the capital of Republic of Guinea.
A Technical Assistance in the amount of 300,000/- Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the Technical and Economic Feasibility Study, Detailed Design and Tender Documents for the Construction of 2 General Hospitals in Harare city in the Republic of Zimbabwe.
The Fund contribution for the 17th Replenishment of the International Development Association (IDA) on behalf of the Government of the State of Kuwait.
