The Fund's Board of Directors held its 5^th Session for the year 2013 on Sunday, October 27, 2013.  The Board perused in this Session the Minutes of the 4^th Session of the Board for the year 2013, held on July 25, 2013 which had been approved on August 7, 2013. The Board also perused the minutes of the 4^th the 5^thSession for the year 2013 of the Board's Internal Audit Committee held on October 6, 2013 and October 27, 2013 and also perused the State Audit Bureau Report in respect of the efficiency of the Fund's Internal Auditing System.  The Board also perused the 51^st Annual Report of the Fund for the year 2012 – 2013.  The Board also in this Session perused the Fund's estimated budget for the Fiscal Year 2014 – 2015.  The Board also took note of the developments on the State of Kuwait contribution in the Sixth Replenishment of the African Development Bank.

The Board in this Session approved the following Loans:

A Loan in the amount of 9 million Kuwaiti Dinars for the financing of Jaban'As Power Station Project in the Republic of Djibouti.

A Loan in the amount of 4 million Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the Construction, Rehabilitation and Equipping of Health Buildings Project in the Republic of Cape Verde.

A Loan in the amount of 5 million Kuwaiti Dinars for the financing of the Rehabilitation of Touba-Dahra-Linguere Road Rehabilitation Project in the Republic of Senegal.

A Loan in the amount of 6 million Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the Laminkoto – Passimus Road Project in the Republic of the Gambia.

A Loan in the amount of 3 million Kuwaiti Dinars for the financing of the Ekounou Professional Secondary School Project in the Republic of Cameroon.

A Loan in the amount of 3 million Kuwaiti Dinars for the financing of the Niassa Rural Electrification Project in the Republic of Mozambique.

A Loan in the amount of 4 million Kuwaiti Dinars for the financing of the Soanirana Ivongo – Mananara Road Project in the Republic of Madagascar. 

A Loan in the amount of 3 million Kuwaiti Dinars for the financing of the Lirangwe – Machinga Road Project in the Republic of Malawi.

A Loan in the amount of 3.6 million Kuwaiti Dinars for the financing of the Rehabilitation, Expansion and Equipping of the Munini Hospital Project in the Republic of Rwanda.

A Loan in the amount of 3.2 million Kuwaiti Dinars for the financing the Development of Water Supply and Sewerage Facilities Project in Fuvahmulah Island in Republic of Maldives.

A Technical Assistance in the amount of 120,000/- Kuwaiti Dinars for financing the Preparation of a Feasibility Study, Detailed Design and Tender Documents for the Urban Roads Project in Bangui, the Central African Republic.

Cancellation of the Board's Decision No. (29) of the year 2013 approving a Technical Assistance for financing a Feasibility Study and Preliminary Engineering Design for Kompongspeu in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
