A Grant Agreement for the amount of Four Million US Dollars was signed today between Kuwait Fund and the United Nations Children's Fund in support of UNICEF's Preparedness and Response Plan to COVID-19 in Syria. The Grant contribution will provide much needed assistance to vulnerable children and families including continued access to essential health and nutrition, water and hygiene services for the prevention and protection from COVID-19.

The Agreement was signed on behalf of Kuwait Fund by Director-General Abdelwahab A. Al-Bader and by Regional Representative for the Gulf Area Eltayed Adam on behalf of UNICEF.
