Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) held a lecture on Sunday for a visiting delegation from NATO Defense College (NDC).
The lecture, entitled "KFAED's Development and Humanitarian Role", was delivered by the Fund's Regional Director for West African Countries Thamer Al-Failakawi and Engineering Advisor Mohammed Sadeqi at KFAED headquarters in Kuwait City.

Al-Failakawi and Sadeqi reviewed the Fund's history, from its establishment to development of its work measures over the years.
They explained KFAED's strategies and operations in various development sectors, and shed light on its role in managing the grants given by Kuwait to several countries.
The two lecturers also addressed the Fund's local role through training and preparing newly graduate engineers and architects, a program which the Fund launched in 2004.
Furthermore, the course highlighted KFAED's contribution to the Public Authority for Housing Welfare's resources and other different local initiatives.
