Technical Details:
| Project Objectives | The project aims at meeting the demand on rail passenger transport services within the Belgrade Railways Junction through increasing infrastructure capacity for passenger train services, reducing travel time and trains operating cost for city, urban, regional and long distance passenger trains, and the improvement of the reliability and quality of service to meet the level of European rail transport standards. The project also aims to contribute to the urban development and environmental aspects of the city of Belgrade. |

| Project Description | Construction of phase 1 of the new Belgrade Centre Railway Station in Prokop with an area of about 37,000 square meters containing 8 main railway tracks with 4 sidings, 5 platforms with two connecting subways, metro tunnel structure underneath the station, technical control post and passenger services, in addition to electrical and mechanical works for trains and passenger related services and utility infrastructures. The project also includes engineering consultancy services for the design, project management and supervision of construction. |
