Technical Details:
| Project Objectives | Project aims at meeting the current and future demand of safe drinking water, increase efficiency and reliability of the drinking water system, and contribute to improvement of general health and the environment in Greater San Juan and in the Zonda-Ullum region with current population of about 540,000 inhabitants and that by constructing and installation of a new drinking water system designed for a period of about 50 years and population exceeding 1.15 million inhabitants. |

| Project Description | The revised Project consists of construction of a new purification plant with total capacity of 3.3 m3/second at a location downstream of Punta Negra Dam and installation of main and secondary pipelines with total length of about 80 KM with diameters ranging from 100 to 1600 mm of stainless steel (SS) and High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) to transport the drinking water produced from the purification plant to Greater San Juan and to Zonda-Ullum region with all associated ancillaries and special fittings. |
