| Project Objectives | The aim of the Project is to enhance the economic and social development in Thai Thuy District, which falls within Thai Binh Province, by responding to the negative effects of weather changes and subsequent floods. |

| Project Description | The Project consists of upgrading a sea dike (inclusive of two culverts) to reinforced concrete, constructing three river embankments, constructing a bridge over the Lang River, dredging the Lang riverbed, constructing electricity transmission stations and underground cable system for a lighting network along the embankments on Diem Ho, Sinh, and Lang rivers, consultancy services for the preparation of the environmental impact assessment study, detailed engineering design and bidding documents, and supervision of construction. |
