Technical Details:
| Project Objectives | The Project aims to support the economic and social development in the project zones through the development and enhancement of the roads infrastructure, in particular the integration of the roads network, increase of roads safety and decrease of vehicle operating costs and travel time, in addition to facilitating obtaining health and education services, and increasing job opportunities. |

| Project Description | The Project consists of constructing an asphalted road of an approximate length of about 350 km, with 6 lanes (3 lanes in each direction with a width of 3.6 m for each lane), and an island with a width ranging between 12.2 – 37.5 m, and shoulders with a width of 2.5 m externally and 0.6 m internally. The Project also includes drainage structures, protection and safety works and consultancy services for the revision of the detailed engineering design and for the supervision of construction. |
