| Project Objectives | The project aims to contribute to the social and economic development in Sudan by increasing the electrical production capacity in the country to meet the demand for electric energy and reduce the scheduled interruptions of electricity in the network and supplying the states in Kordofan and Darfur by establishing the Al-Fola Al-Radaifa power station to generate electricity with a total capacity of 200 MW powered by associated gas. Petroleum as a primary fuel and diesel fuel (LDO) as a second fuel. |

| Project Description | The project consists of the construction of a new power generation station in the state of West Kordofan with a total capacity of 200 megawatts operating on an open cycle system. It includes the supply and installation of 2-4 open-cycle gas units (the number depends on the manufacturer Siemens / GE), and an electric transformer station to transfer the generated power through 220 kilovolt lines with a generation transformer capacity of about 350 MVA, and power transformers with a capacity of 120 MVA. The project also includes two systems, one for transporting water from the wells to the station, which includes pipelines with a length of about 12 km, and the second for gas associated with petroleum from the oil fields to the station through pipelines with a length of about 90 km.
