Technical Details:
| Project Objectives | The project aims at enhancing the economic and social development of the central and northern regions of the Republic of Mali and contribute to facilitating the movement of goods and passengers in the region, save transportation time and costs and improve road safety and promoting trade exchanges between the south and the north of the country, through rehabilitating the "Bore-Douenza" road section of "Sevare-Douenza" Road which represent first part of "Sevare-Gao" Road located in the center of the country. |

| Project Description | The project consists of the following main elements: 1. Civil engineering works: This includes the rehabilitation and paving of Bore-Douentza road with a length of about 59 kilometers and a width of 7.2 meters, (two lanes) and shoulders 1.50 meters each side, in addition to the new construction of water drainage and crossing structures and the provision of safety and protection measures. 2. Consulting services for reviewing the detailed designs, tender documents and supervising of construction. 3. Project implementation unit. 4. Financial audit of the project . The project is expected to start in 2021 and end in 2023. |
