Arab bank for economic development in africa (Badea)
Established 1974. The Bank was created for the purpose of strengthening economic, financial and technical cooperation between Arab and African countries, to make Arab-African solidarity a concrete reality and to base this co-operative venture on foundations of friendship and equality.
Arab gulf programme for united nations development organizations (Agfund)
Established 1980. AGFUND aims to support human development efforts, including fighting poverty, promoting education, improving health standards, supporting institutional structures and the training of personnel, as well as all development efforts geared toward the neediest groups in developing countries, especially women and children.
Saudi fund for development (Saudi Fund)
Established in 1974. The basic objectives of the fund are to participate in financing of development projects in developing countries through granting of loans to said countries and to encourage national non-crude-oil exports by providing finance and insurance in support of such exports.
