News Detail - Kuwait Fund
Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) signed on Sunday, 02/02, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with UK Department for International Development (DFID).
The deal aims at boosting technical cooperation and joint action between the two sides in fields of economic and social development finance in developing nations, bilateral-coordinated response to humanitarian crises and natural disasters, and exchange of technical and information expertise.
The KFAED-DFID agreement is part of the recommendations approved at the 15th Kuwait-UK Joint Steering Group session, in which the Kuwaiti side was headed by the foreign ministry.
KFAED Director-General Abdulwahab Al-Bader signed the MoU on behalf of the Kuwaiti side, while British Minister of State for Middle East Dr. Andrew Murrison signed on behalf of his country.
