News Detail - Kuwait Fund
Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) signed on Thursday, 06/02/2020, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The deal acts as a framework to leverage the two institutions' comparative advantages, and build synergies in addressing the evolving needs of individuals, communities affected by armed conflicts, and those stranded in difficult situations.
The KFAED-ICRC collaboration is a result of the Second High-Level Policy Dialogue between the ICRC and the State of Kuwait, represented by the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS), which took place in June 2019.
The MoU was signed by KFAED Deputy Director General Marwan Al-Ghanim and Head of Regional Delegation for the GCC at ICRC Omar Odeh.
