As part of the “Be Among the Outstanding” trip initiative organized by the Kuwait Fund, delegations of outstanding male and female students go to Tajikistan and Rwanda


 

Delegations of outstanding male and female students headed at the start of their trips to the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Rwanda, as part of the twelfth edition of the (Be Among the Outstanding) initiative organized by the Kuwait Fund for Development for high school students, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, which will continue until the 28th of this month.

The head of the Department of Advertising, Marketing and Exhibitions and the student’s trip supervisor, Mr. Saleh Al-Taqi, stated that the students will visit several development projects during their trip to the Republic of Rwanda, such as the Munini Hospital project and the Integrated Regional Institute of Applied Arts, in order to see the workflow of the projects and the extent to which they benefit economically and humanly, in addition to Visit the National Museum in Ronda and other cultural and tourist places.

Al-Taqi added that the Fund is continuing its plans to achieve local expansion as part of its social responsibility, and organizing trips for the “Be the Outstanding” initiative is a culmination of the efforts of male and female students for their academic excellence, and to enhance their abilities to be self-reliant and assume responsibility, in addition to enhancing their national sense by introducing them to the efforts of the State of Kuwait to achieve development. in developing countries.

For her part, the students’ trip supervisor, Ms. Fatima Al-Terkait, said that the students will visit several development projects in the Republic of Tajikistan, such as the Kulyab-Kalaikhumb road project and the Norak hydroelectric station project, in addition to visiting some historical and touristic places.

Al-Terkait added that the Fund organizes annual cultural and recreational trips for male and female students to visit the countries with which the Fund cooperates and benefits from its projects, and a selection of outstanding students is selected by the Ministry of Education according to their academic grades.

It is worth noting that the Kuwait Fund launched the first trips of the program (Be among the Outstanding) in 2010 for the outstanding male and female students. So far, the number of outstanding students who have joined the Fund’s trips has reached about 264 male and female students, in which they visited more than 15 countries such as the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Jordan, and the Republic of Uzbekistan. , People's Republic of China, Turkey, Lebanon, Sri Lanka, Kingdom of Morocco, Republic of Senegal and others.
