The Kuwait Fund Participates in the College of Engineering and Petroleum Training Forum
The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development participated in the College of Engineering and Petroleum Training Forum, organized by the Office of the Assistant Dean for Planning, Consultation, and Training. The event took place at Sabah Al-Salem University City yesterday.
The Fund showcased its media publications through its own booth at the accompanying exhibition of the forum. These publications highlighted its role in supporting human development efforts within the State of Kuwait, notably the Fund's annual 'Training of Newly Graduated Kuwaiti Engineers and Architects' program, launched in 2004, which has graduated more than 850 trainees.
Highlighting the program's impact, Dr. Sultan Al-Enzi, Professor of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering and Petroleum - Kuwait University, praised the initiative organized by the Fund. The initiative aims to boost the efficiency of the Kuwaiti workforce, offering encouragement and motivation through a comprehensive program that encompasses three stages of theoretical and practical training, both in Kuwait and internationally.
Al-Enezi further added that this program aims to provide the local market with scientific expertise and competencies in various engineering fields, including the latest technologies and management skills, achieved through the trainees' joining of leading international companies.
