The Investment Department at the Kuwait Fund for Development, in cooperation with J.P. Morgan Asset Management, organized an investment training course at the Kuwait Fund's headquarters. The training course, which commenced on the 11th of this month, concluded today. It was attended by employees from the Investment Department, Investment Settlements, and Internal Audit departments at the Fund alongside a number of representatives from the Public Institution for Social Security and the Gulf Investment Corporation.

The course aimed to bolster the participants’ capabilities in the fields of investment and asset management, this is part of the Fund's ongoing efforts to develop the competencies of its employees and benefit from global expertise, Mr. Nasser Al-Fouzan, Superintendent of Securities in the Investment Department at the Fund, noted.

Al-Fouzan added, “this collaboration with J.P. Morgan underscores the Fund’s commitment to continuous improvement in managing investments more effectively. which contributes to achieving its development goals.” This training program also reflects the Fund's broader strategy in developing its human resources to ensure the provision of best practices in the field of economic development.

It is worth noting that the Kuwait Fund for Development has maintained a strong financial position through its self-financing policy since 1986 until now, without relying on the state. The Fund's budget is not included in the state's budget. The Fund has been able to achieve this financial sustainability through its investment portfolio, financial returns, and asset allocation.
