His Excellency President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh of Mongolia awarded today the Medal of Friendship to Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development’s Acting Director-General Mr. Waleed Shamlan Al-Bahar in the Mongolian capital Ulaanbaatar, in presence of Kuwait’s Ambassador to Mongolia Mr. Mohammad Al-Mutairi.

President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh expressed his gratitude and appreciation, on behalf of the Mongolian people, to all the support provided by Kuwait Fund that contributed to elevating the standard of living of the Mongolian people and boosting the country’ economy since the beginning of the Fund’s operations in Mongolia some three decades ago.

For his part, Kuwait Fund’s acting chief lauded the solid bilateral relationship between the two nations and thanked the Mongolian leader for such an honor, expressing the Fund’s willingness to continue backing the Mongolian government’s development priorities and strife towards achieving a more sustainable economy.
