Kuwait Fund for Development participated in a dialogue session on the sidelines of the World Bank Group meetings
At the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Jasem Mohamed Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Acting Director General Mr. Waleed Shamlan Al-Bahar participated in a panel discussion held by the GCC Secretariat on the sidelines of the 2024 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group. In the session, titled 'Cooperation and Integration in Sustainable Development,' Mr. Al-Bahar emphasized the central role of Gulf development institutions in shaping a sustainable future for developing countries.
The event was attended by Her Excellency Eng. Noora Al-Fassam, Minister of Finance, Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investments, and Acting Minister of Oil, along with numerous ministers, senior Gulf officials, and Kuwaiti Ambassador to the United States, Her Excellency Sheikha Al-Zain Al-Sabah.
