Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council Chairman Meets with Kuwait Fund Acting Director in Riyadh to Strengthen Cooperation and Signed Reschedule Debt
His Excellency Mr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of the Republic of Yemen, met with Mr. Waleed Shamlan Al-Bahr, Acting Director General, at his residence in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the latest developments in the Kuwait Fund’s activities in Yemen and ways to enhance mutual cooperation to achieve shared goals.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Mr. Waed Abdullah Bathib, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, and His Excellency Mr. Falah Al-Hajraf, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Yemen. The meeting also witnessed the signing of a financial arrangement agreement between the Kuwait Fund and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation, in which an agreement was reached to reschedule Yemen’s outstanding debts.
